Weco Manufacturing Quality Assurance & Control standard operations include first piece, in-process and final inspection of products. When required, the final inspection consists of 100% dimensional checks including Mil. Spec 105-D sampling plan to a 1.0 A.Q.L. Weco also provides S.P.C for customers utilizing Excel spreadsheet data.
 
Weco Manufacturing uses all standard manual measurement tools including micrometers, intra-micrometers and chamfer gages. Each Weco department utilizes a surface plate and height gage for in-process inspections. Select areas incorporate the Virtek laser measurement system to ensure proper sizes for forming operations.

The Weco machining department also incorporates the Mitutoyo CMM with a travel range of 20 in.-X, 16in.-Y, 12 in.-Z. This combines with two other CMM machines, the Helmel Check Master and the Hansfor Rapid Check, staged strategically in the plant to help confirm product inspections. All CMMs utilize 3D workshop software for continuity between machines.
For further quality confirmation, Weco employs the O.G.P QL-14 optical comparator with projection III software and back lighting for reflective checks. Weco will entertain all quality assurance requests, extending beyond the standard Weco quality assurances.

We are presently ITAR certified, JCP approved and in process of becoming ISO 9001-2008 certified.
