FINISHING

Powder Coating/Wet Paint

Weco offers several coating solutions in-house, including epoxy, solomite, wet paint, powder coating, and eurothane. This gives the product protection and durability.

Screen Printing/Pad Printing

While there are key differences between pad printing and screen printing both boast great advantages, which is why they are the two most popular printing methods used today. Because Weco offers both we can pick the right process for your project.

Laser Marking

Laser marking is a permanent process that uses a beam of concentrated light to create a lasting mark on a surface. Typically performed with a fiber, pulsed, continuous wave, green, or UV laser machine, laser marking encompasses a wide variety of applications. Weco has multiple lasers including Fiber and CO2 marking lasers across our facilities and can pick the appropriate process for your application.

Blasting/Peening

Shot blasting and shot peening are the process of combining high-pressure air with various types of material to smooth and blend a metal surface or roughen the surface, depending on the application. We utilize multiple media forms including glass bead, stainless or common steel ball peening, sand blasting, or more aggressive silicone carbides. Whatever your application, our production team has an in-house solution to offer.

Deburring

Our facilities utilize numerous methods of deburring parts, both in cycle and offline. These could include in-machine tooling or spiral processes such as tumbling, thermal deburring, cryogenic deburring, and timesaver sanding. In several applications, we’ve integrated collaborative robots to add efficiency, consistency, and throughput to the deburring process.

Passivation

Weco works at ASTM A967 standards. What does that mean? The ASTM A967 passivation standard applies to the cleaning, passivation, and testing of stainless-steel parts using environmentally friendly citric acid (found in most citric fruits). Citric-acid passivation removes free iron and other surface contaminants from stainless steel parts, improving corrosion resistance and eliminating concerns of iron contamination down line in the assembly process.

Chemical Treatments

We partner with multiple NADCAP-certified vendors to meet your production needs. This includes anodizing, electro-plating, conversion coating, day film lubrication, and vacuum impregnation.
